Key Responsibilities:

The holder of the position will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting duties, including:

  • Recording and verifying purchase and sales invoices.
  • Performing reconciliations for banks, suppliers, and customers.
  • Monitoring and processing collections, including telephone communication with clients.
  • Maintaining and updating the General Ledger.
  • Preparing periodic accounts and financial statements.
  • Analyzing financial data and submitting reports to the Chief Accountant.
  • Executing ad hoc accounting tasks as required by the department.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Good knowledge of accounting software (knowledge of Sage or similar system will be considered an advantage).
  • LCCI Higher or CAT certification will be considered an additional asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Team spirit and a sense of responsibility.
